The star has slimmed down for roles in a number of projects, including This Is Us, a television show in which she plays Kate Pearson. The power of positive thinking

How did she do it? A lot of people will be surprised to learn that Chrissy Metz’s weight loss was a combination of lifestyle changes, starting with going vegan for about a year. During her time as a vegan, Metz incorporated foods like tofu into dishes in place of meats. She also slowly began adding animal products back into her diet to test which foods she could tolerate while watching how they affected her body. Today, Chrissy Metz's weight loss still incorporates several aspects of her vegan lifestyle, but she has also learned that flexibility is important when successfully losing weight. It’s not just about picking one way of eating and doing it forever; rather, you need to find what works best for your body at any given time.
